Teaching the Art of Filmmaking to kids 11-18.

Co-Founders Lee Anderson & Patti White

"Film is the literature of this generation."

--- Mimi Edmunds, Guest Instructor

Since our inception in 2002, we have grown from Beginners and Intermediate to an Advanced program with a focus on specific filmmaking tasks. We have an exceptional team who specialize in writing, directing, acting, production, editing, special effects, graphic design and music. Our uniqueness lies in offering a real-world set situation, and an experiential, hands-on learning process as we develop the filmmakers of tomorrow.

Another facet of the FILMSTERS Academy experience is the supportive, 100% non-competitive creative, and collaborative atmosphere. At FILMSTERS Academy, we are committed to building an awareness of and appreciation for the art of filmmaking. Over the past 20 years, we have been able to create a pathway to the industry for young people. We are excited to see their success continue beyond camp but proud to know that we planted the seed years before.

Participation in FILMSTERS Academy is an experience unlike any other – the energy and creativity felt here open new doors to self-expression that will inspire your child to redefine their creative identity. Come play with us!
